I’ve been hooked now into Vimeo: better quality and simply a better place for wanna-be filmmakers. Hey, that’s me. I sort of edited clips I had in FA but they kind of seem redundant already, as my Kobotel video was full of random montages.
Then came the brilliant idea of stop motion. I rush edited my clips and tada! So far, I’ve had good comments from my peers. That makes me feel so positive. Must have plot for next project. NOW.
So I’m still not over this thing, and I spent most of my day taking shots. Mostly at arching trees or buildings because they look awesome in 360. See this and this!
But beyond this, I shot some footages of my friends over a coffee shop. I will probably make something out of it. I tried to profile the three of them and have a plot that involves friends and coffee shops. No biggie, just testing out the waters, where waters is the camera.
Given the lens, I’d like to make a simple short, just to introduce my camera and how amazing it is. Perhaps a boy wakes up with a lens beside him. I’m not sure if he would throw or keep it in the end.
That’s it for now. Maybe tomorrow, I can start on a storyline.
Today, I finally got my Sony Bloggie MHS-PM5K. It’s just your typical HD camera (ala Flip) with an awesomazing bonus of a 360 degree lens. Yes, it’s panorama in a single shot. It had me at that feature, and decided to get myself one. Bought it at 2/3 the original price. And it’s brand new. The genius that is online selling!
So I tried it out today and am happy with what it can do. IT CAN TAKE AWESOME LIKE THIS IN ONE CLICK! Haters can hate, but I love this camera. You will help me be the filmmaker I aspire to be, right Bloggie?
