Fuck The Basics.

So I’m still not over this thing, and I spent most of my day taking shots. Mostly at arching trees or buildings because they look awesome in 360. See this and this!

But beyond this, I shot some footages of my friends over a coffee shop. I will probably make something out of it. I tried to profile the three of them and have a plot that involves friends and coffee shops. No biggie, just testing out the waters, where waters is the camera.

Given the lens, I’d like to make a simple short, just to introduce my camera and how amazing it is. Perhaps a boy wakes up with a lens beside him. I’m not sure if he would throw or keep it in the end.

That’s it for now. Maybe tomorrow, I can start on a storyline.

It’s visual coolness for the apathetic (had they cared), a wish-granting occurence for the pathetic. But for other people, say the cheesy ones, it marks a start. Regardless of whether I’m cheesy or not, I do believe so too. Start for what? Well, I doubt for a protocol on that, considering how much people there are alive. So perhaps it will be safe to say that ‘for what’ lies heavily upon each’s own. It could lie anywhere between a nicotine-free pair of lungs to a social revolution. After much thought, I’ve come to decide on what to start.

Passion. No, not exactly. Realization of passion. Yes, that is more like it. Film has always been a passion, a frustration. Circumstances shadowed the passion, but there’s never a thing as too late - a mantra I believed in for so long. So this blog, will be the primary witness to my journey. From scans of my scratch papers to scripts to lines to images to inspirations to amateur shorts - to just about anything!

Hopefully this all makes sense in the end.
